Carnot Game Description
Carnot Game is an engaging game centered around the Carnot Cycle, where the participant must switch between three thermal sources (hot, insulator, and cold) to optimize the work performed on the piston of a cylinder. The objective is to maintain the piston functioning within the optimal Carnot cycle, executing the transitions between sources at the exact moments to prevent the cylinder from rupturing or freezing. The nearer the participant is to the Carnot cycle, the greater their score and advancement.
The player needs to click the button to alternate between the thermal sources of the system, keeping in mind to execute the transitions at appropriate times to evade the piston getting stuck or the cylinder bursting. The Carnot cycle encompasses four thermodynamic processes.
